Distribution Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and properly unload a trailer of product, verify the load for accuracy, and stage for put away.  

  • Pick and pack orders using label picking, ring scanners, voice directed picking or paper picket tickets. 

  • Move product by safely and responsibly operating material handling equipment such as forklift, order picker, pallet jack, reach truck, keg fork dock stocker, slip-sheet lift, de-layer, clamp truck, double pallet jack and floor scrubber. 

  • Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed. 

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions. 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferably one year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

  • Required to obtain certification and safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) to include forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachment, and/or clamper truck or attachment.  

  • The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. 

  • EOStar software experience preferred.

Comptroller

Responsibilities:

Comptroller / Accountant for distributions company. 2 years experience with in depth knowledge on EOStar software. Competitive wage and benefits 

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with experience working in a fast-paced environment and excel at communicating with individuals across a cross-functioning team environment, and with internal and external team members within the organization. The candidate must be capable of making well-informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial operations to include providing leadership and expertise to ensure that the system of internal financial controls effectively and efficiently safeguard the Company assets and provide accurate and timely financial information. 

  • Direct financial accounting, management, and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Oversee the accounts payable functions within the Finance Department ensuring accurate and efficient operations.

  • Ensure the general ledger is maintained accurately for final reporting purposes and in compliance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Standards.

  • Assist in preparations and schedules for the annual financial audit.

  • Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for inbound logistics and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure

  • Effectively and professionally communicate with staff, peers and the community.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university

  • Knowledge of accounting practices and reporting

  • Ability to review and to interpret financial data

  • A minimum of three years financial accounting experience is required, with at least three years of accounting leadership and administrative experience in financial accounting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in preparation and maintenance of accounting spreadsheets utilizing software packages. EOStar logistics software experience preferred.
